*As the guitars start you see Billy, still with hair,
with his head cocked to the side and a very vacant
look on his face. He is sitting on a couch in the dark. His hair is dirty and disheveled and he is very
slightly swaying to the music.
When the drums kick in he lifts his head up and smiles
as his features become more animated.* (And I stumble on to you.) *Billy looks out a window happily.* (.as you stumble over me) *Billy look back in front of him and you see a younger Billy arguing with a very pretty woman. They are in the same house only it is lit and brighter.* (And you say the fates were cruel, for throwing us together.) *You see the Billy on the couch is singing and has a guitar.* (I always loved you so.) *He extends his hand out and the camera follows it and you see him and the woman walking down a street holding hands and laughing.* (.Especially when you'd go. All the world must know, all the world must know. That I loved you so) *You see Billy kiss the woman as she smiles and heads for the door. He stops her and kisses her much more passionately this time before she leaves.* *As the guitars are playing, you see the Billy on the couch reach down to the floor and pick up a shard of glass.* (It's a pity we're apart, it's a shame you broke my heart.) *He slices his wrist and looks back into the camera trying to ignore the pain* (Well I got a new girl friend, she looks a lot like you dear. No one could ever do dear.) *He runs his hand through his hair very confused* (All the world must know.) *He again looks out the window and back again and you see Billy and the woman arguing intensely* (That I loved you so, especially when you'd go. Especially when you'd.) *Billy is trying to calm the woman but it isn't working. She pulls out of his embrace and you see her mouth "it's over" as she leaves* (.go away and leave me here just, go away and leave me alone! All the world must know) *Billy screams after her and then turns around as he breaks down against a wall* (guitars playing) *You see the band running up a sidewalk, D'Arcy in the lead. You then see the door into Billy's house and run toward his couch as does James and Jimmy. You then see the woman in the doorway cover her mouth as her eyes water over and the camera pans over to see Billy lying in his own blood, surrounded by his band members, smiling. You see that both his wrists are slit.* (Pennies for sale, pennies for sale, pennies for sale, pennies for sale.) *The camera is looking down on Billy as he sings, drowsily, smiling, and then closes his eyes. D'Arcy is crying and Jimmy is on the phone presumably with 911* By Patty Blair : OwenaX24@yahoo.com |
