Intro. No music yet. Night time. Billy sits on the bed in his bedroom, dressed in black and looking depressed. Lights are all out except for a small lamp,which gives out a blue light. Music starts and Billy gets up and walks around the room, looking tired and like he's got something on his mind that keeps him for getting any sleep. When "blank page…" starts, camera shows a note pad (on the table next to the bed), which has some erased scribblings on it. Back to Billy and the walking around the room. "You haven't changed…" - Billy enters the bathroom, turns on the blue light, and washes his face to wake himself up. This is all seen from the mirror above the sink. He exits, shutting the light as he leaves. Next couple of minutes are just Billy sitting on his sofa in the livingroom / opening fridge to find something to drink / looking at the rain outside /watching "leaking rain on the phone"… etc.
"Take a day, plant some trees…" - Billy finally made up his mind, gets up, puts on a long black coat and exits the house. Camera is now outside, focusing on the door, and just as the "…blank page was all the rage…" part starts, Billy is seen exitting the house and shutting the door behind him as he walks towards his car.He gets in, starts up the car and begins driving in a dark road. Some close-ups of his depressed face as he's driving. "You are a ghost…" - Billy looks to the right only to find on the seat next to him his love, half-transperant like a ghost, looking at him. The same one he wasn't sure he loved, the same one the blank page was meant for. He looks back, forward, and then to the right again only to see that she's gone. As the music fades out, he steps on the brakes and you see his car from the outside (black of course), in the middle of the dark highway, with rain falling on it. This is all just a few seconds after the song has ended, and you just hear the rain. Fade out. Just before 'Blank page...' starts and street lights sweep over the car. Everyone turns into Billy from a different era. They all sing 'Blank page was all the rage never meant to say anything.' Adore era Billy sings : 'In bed I was half dead tired of dreaming of rest' Gish era : 'Got dressed drove the state line looking for you at the five and dime' SD era' Stop sign told me stay at home told me you were not alone' All: 'Blank page was all the rage never meant to hurt anyone' Adore era.'In bed I was half dead tired of dreaming...' MCIS era' you haven't changed your still the same may you rise as you fall' Gish 'You were easy you are forgotten you are the ways of my mistakes' SD' I catch the rainfall though the leaking roof that you have left behind' MCIS 'you remind me of that leak in my soul' Gish 'The rain falls my friends call leaking rain on the phone' Adore 'Take a day plant some trees may they shade you from me may your children play beneath' All 'Blank page was all the rage never meant to say anything in bed I was half dead tired of dreaming of rest' SD 'got dressed drove the state line looking for you at the five and dime.' MCIS 'But there I was picking pieces up...' Adore 'Your are the ghost of my indecisions...no more little girl' car pulls to an abrupt stop... Adore era Billy turns around the rest of the band members just look at him inquisitively. James grabs Billy's shoulder 'What's the matter man?' Billy looks at him...tips back his cowboy hat..
