# of Interpretations for Age of Innocence: 1 E-mail Aaron with your own video interpretations.

The song starts on a street in a perfect neighborhood on a sunny cloudless day. the camera moves like it's attached to a car. We dismiss..... The band is down the street, and you can see they're playing with amps and all. ...the back roads.... Camera gets closer, and stops with everyone in plain view. They keep playing until.. ...no more eyes apon you.... The band lets their instruments drop and walk twards the edge of the road. ...no more the simple man... The band steps onto the sidewalk and are changed into 7 year olds. Someones mother is ushering them into a blue house. Billy is still singing the words. When they enter they do the normal kid thing, running around reaking havoc on the mother. at the end of the chorus she sends them outside to play and they are 10-12 years old. outside there is a party. ...and in my prayers.. The band partys like it's 1999, jumps on the trampoline, socializes, has a water fight. ...cast in stone and autumn shade... all run into a neighboring yellow house to avoid a mass of water balloons. now they are teens and at an OLDER party with beer, booze and the like. compares the innocent party from the pre-teens to the teen one with people making out on couches and smoking, throwing up in the bathroom and kitchen ...before the rights of spring.... the band cilmbs up the stairs. on the second level the band looks like they did when they first started out. They open up the back screen to see a pool down below. ...too young to die... They back up.. ...to rich to care... they begin running to the open door.. ...too fucked to swear that I was there.. they jump out of the door to do wonderful cannonballs into the pool ...desolation yes, hesitation no.. they get out the pool sopping wet and laughing ..as you might have guessed... At the end of the song the band returns to the street where they turn back to their normal state. they leave the instruments behind and walk into the camera until they step over it and the song ends.
