December 7, 2008 - Aragon Ballroom - Chicago, IL
Concert review by Mitch K

This show was amazing. I was at their show in Indiana in August, and their first show at the Chicago Theatre, and both of those were OK, as they played too many slow weird jam sessions, and not enough hits. This show was the best ever. They played tons of old hits, threw in a couple new songs, and only did a few jam sessions, which were OK. Billy acknowledged that everyone wanted to hear their old stuff, but the band was trying to move on, so he said after this show they wouldn't play anymore old stuff. For the encore he played Ava Adore, 1979, and closed the show with acoustic Disarm. This show was amazing, any Pumpkins fan would have loved it. Way better then some of the other shows this past year. And, for once, he seemed to appreciate the fans which was cool.
